We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Product Owner, Senior Vice President, Wealth Solutions to join our Wealth Solutions team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide influential product leadership within the Wealth Solutions product function, shaping priorities, delivery approaches, and outcomes that enhance platform capability, control, and scalability.
  • Own the product vision and strategic roadmap for key Wealth Solutions offerings, translating strategic intent into executable delivery plans and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Drive the execution of the Wealth Solutions product vision through hands-on product ownership, taking accountability for requirements definition, prioritization, and outcome-focused delivery across multiple agile Scrum teams.
  • Partner closely with Wealth Solutions Product Managers, Technology, Operations, Sales, and other key stakeholders to gather requirements, synthesize input, manage dependencies, and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Lead and mentor engineering, QE, and design teams, defining and prioritizing the product backlog, writing well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria, and maintaining a groomed backlog several sprints ahead.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to proactively inform prioritization decisions, identify emerging risks or opportunities, and adjust delivery plans accordingly.
  • Champion pragmatic improvements, exploring how tools, automation, and AI can be responsibly applied to enhance delivery efficiency, control, and client experience within Wealth Solutions.
  • Define and implement target operating models for new or enhanced Wealth Solutions, establishing clear ownership, roles, and accountability across operations and technology.
  • Ensure strong data foundations across the product area, shaping data requirements, influencing priorities, and aligning teams around shared data models and quality standards to drive informed decisions.
  • Role-model modern, inclusive product leadership, supporting and coaching new Product Owners, and using influence rather than authority to maintain momentum through ambiguity and resolve complex challenges.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Strong portfolio management systems (PMS) knowledge, including portfolio construction, model management, rebalancing approaches, performance metrics and reporting, suitability considerations, and integrations experience with 3rd party systems and management of upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Proven experience in a Product Owner, business change, or equivalent role within financial services.
  • A track record of building and launching successful products from ideation through launch and revision.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud-native architectures, and data visualization tools.
  • Practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), including writing well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria, and providing daily direction to agile teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe) are a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align senior stakeholders across diverse functions.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of navigating ambiguity and making data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through collaboration, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
