The Markets business helps our clients formulate, implement and operationalize their investment strategies. It provides clients with financing, execution, liquidity and collateral solutions that are integrated with BNY\’s asset servicing ecosystem. The Markets division is primarily organized into four Lines of Business: i) Foreign Exchange; ii) Securities Finance; iii) Liquidity and Margin Services and iv) Fixed Income and Equities (FIEQ).
BNY is growing its FIEQ Product Team in London and is seeking an experienced professional to help drive business growth and deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage and own business change within the wider FIEQ strategic roadmap.
- Act as product owner solving complex problems for our clients and business with a control lens while being commercially viable.
- Collaborate with FIEQ Sales, Trading and Global product teams to facilitate the growth ambitions of Global Markets Trading.
- Constantly strive to make process improvements with a focus on efficiency and automation.
- Support clients through onboarding, testing, issue management and change.
To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:
- Several years\’ experience in a Product & Execution Support role
- Established track record in Equities & Fixed Income
- Ability to work independently and to proactively organize, manage and prioritize work
- Demonstrate resilience and deliver results in a demanding environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and business improvement, and the ability to run basic queries (e.g. SQL)
- Good understanding of technology concepts, design, and development lifecycle.
- Excellent attention to detail for product requirements and process documentation
- Understanding of front/back-end architecture, APIs and ability to read and write basic code (e.g. Java or Python)
