We’re seeking a future team member for the role of ‘Vice President, Trustee & Depositary Manager I’ to join our UK Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Completion and implementation of internal monitoring for all Funds, ensuring that work is completed in accordance with the departmental procedures and to the required regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular service reviews, quality assurance assessments of offshore team, ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation in line with regulatory expectations.
- Plan, manage and develop team members, by formatting training and development plans, using coaching skills where necessary. Set objectives or Key Areas of Responsibility. Appraise performance against objectives.
- Act as focus for all internal and external compliance/audit inspections involving issues relating to pricing, investments, audit production, report and accounts, distributions and administrative activities.
- Responsible for ensuring that all high risk and complex administrative tasks, requiring depth of experience, are handled correctly and efficiently.
- Drive forward operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust/OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and to increase quality and quantity of output.
- Promote a strong risk-aware and control focused culture within the team.
- Provide support to the wider UK Trustee & Depositary teams as required.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Extensive experience within Trustee and Depositary, Fund Administration or Asset Servicing.
- In-depth knowledge of FCA, CASS UCITS and AIFMD regulatory requirements.
- Proven people management experience within an operational or oversight environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
