We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Pershing ALM Analyst to join our Pershing team. This role is located in London, UK.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Reporting to the Head of Pershing Treasury, with joint reporting to the International Treasurer, lead ALM matters relating to the broker-dealer balance sheet and certain global liquidity requirements for Pershing EMEA entities, monitoring and explaining changes and related management reporting.
  • Drive initiatives to support the funding, capital and liquidity position of the entity.
  • Ensure compliance with all limits, escalating and remediating breaches and early warning indicators.
  • Set agendas for governance forums and review the work of the ALCO secretary, ensuring high-quality minutes, tracking decisions and actions, and maintaining related documentation.
  • Responsible for the production and presentation of slides, dashboards and other ALM presentation materials for various governance bodies (e.g., ALCO, Board of Managers, etc.).
  • Manage end-to-end liquidity risk (including intraday) for Pershing EMEA legal entities, in close coordination with the EMEA Funding Desk and Finance.
  • Lead periodic reviews and updates of entity-specific policies and other governance documentation (e.g., CFP, EWI recalibration).
  • Conduct liquidity and other analysis to evaluate the impact of business initiatives, funding actions and assumption changes on key metrics and decisions.
  • May provide advice on specific business decisions that will affect funding, liquidity, capital or interest rate risk.
  • Liaise with Cash Management, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, and Operations, as necessary, to ensure ongoing compliance with all requirements.
  • Co-lead efforts to automate and reimagine ongoing processes, including through fluency in the use of AI.
  • Ensure issues are escalated and communicated appropriately and support mitigating any associated risks.
  • Monitor the regulatory environment, conduct applicable research and make recommendations for responding to emerging/changing regulatory requirements affecting ALM, Capital or Liquidity funding.
  • Support with regulatory, second line and internal audit exams/reviews including remediation of issues.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks associated with Pershing or BNY Treasury functions.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent qualification. Degree in finance or economics, with proficiency in math, statistics, or computational finance preferred. MBA, or CFA preferred.
  • Experience in ALM/Treasury at broker-dealers or banks; deep expertise in liquidity/funding and broker-dealer activities.
  • Advanced knowledge of both broker-dealer capital, liquidity, funding and operational requirements, as well as Treasury ALM and Liquidity metrics (e.g., LST) and available funding sources.
  • Expertise conducting analysis and process automation with Excel, AI and other reporting/automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
