We are seeking a Vice President, Product Owner for our Loans Enablement Platform, based in Manchester, UK, working in a hybrid capacity. Position Summary We require a senior-level product management professional responsible for strategic planning, managing multiple backlogs, and mentoring junior product owners. Key Responsibilities: Write specifications for minor features and contribute to major feature specs. Negotiate implementation, make trade-offs, escalate when necessary, and work with teams to maximize value and quality. Assess release quality and readiness. Customer Insights: Formulate business questions and data tracking methods. Use low-fidelity tools for initial design and collaborate with teams for higher fidelity representations. Engage with product users and prioritize roadmap decisions based on multiple data sources. Product Strategy: Understand business outcomes and impact of product decisions. Develop and communicate a near-term product roadmap in partnership with management. Primary Responsibilities: Own and refine the product backlog and roadmap. Lead agile ceremonies, track team velocity, and improve efficiencies. Manage user stories, stakeholder communication, and technical design decisions. Monitor product performance and analyze key metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor\’s degree in business management or related field, or equivalent experience. Product management experience, preferably in financial services.
