We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Business Technology Liaison Vice President to join our business technology team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage and provide direction to a team of business technology liaison staff supporting the technical needs of a business area.
- Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems and deliver improved systems, providing enhancements and recommendations as needed.
- Tailor standard procedures and policies by selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain optimal results.
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
- Collaborate with business areas to identify opportunities for technical improvements.
- Manage human capital resources and develop and monitor project plans and budgets, including responsibility for project estimation processes.
- Recruit, guide, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual contributions, professional growth, and effective teamwork.
- Oversee a team of professionals through coaching, performance management, and resource allocation, ensuring achievement of team goals and objectives, talent management, and supervision.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- People management experience preferred.
- Technical experience preferred.
