The Role As a key senior leader within BNP Paribas Personal Finance, you will set the strategic direction, drive growth and deliver operational excellence across the banks consumer lending portfolio. With an initial focus on personal loans and the opportunity to expand into other business lines, you will lead a team of professionals and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure the business meetsand exceedsits financial, regulatory and customer experience objectives. Reporting to the Product & Commercial Director, the Head of Consumer Lending must possess deep expertise in consumer lending, a strong understanding of credit risk, and a passion for delivering innovative lending solutions that align with the banks overall mission and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Consumer lending business, aligning the companys long-term vision and profit targets Monitor business trends, customer preferences and regulatory changes to adapt and evolve the product offering Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of all consumer lending products, from ideation and pricing to launch and ongoing management Set and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and P&L for the personal loans business and any other consumer lending products in the future Lead, inspire and develop a high performing team Champion a digital first approach, ensuring consumer lending journeys are frictionless, transparent, and accessible across all channels. Skills & Attributes Prior experience in consumer lending, retail banking, or financial services, ideally with experience of operating within a senior leadership role In-depth knowledge of the personal loans market, credit risk principles, customer segmentation and regulatory frameworks Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L management, budgeting, and profitability analysis Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills Could this be you?
