The Role

We're looking for an experienced

Motor Operations Vehicle Manager to lead the operational management of our vehicle assets throughout their lifecycle.

You'll drive operational performance, work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, and use data and insight to maximise asset value while ensuring fair customer outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational management of vehicle assets, ensuring efficient end-of-contract processes and strong commercial performance.
  • Use data and management information to identify trends, improve performance and support operational decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, monitoring service delivery, governance and performance against agreed SLAs.
  • Collaborate with teams across Operations, Finance, Risk and Asset Management to deliver effective operational strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA requirements, Consumer Duty, governance standards and operational controls.
  • Lead, coach and develop your team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and excellent customer outcomes.
  • Travel will be required to visit auction houses to review performance, operational standards and working practices.

Skills & Attributes

  • Proven leadership experience within a motor, asset management or regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data and MI to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
  • Good understanding of vehicle asset management, end-of-contract processes and operational governance.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and delivering fair customer outcomes.
  • Organised, commercially minded and resilient, with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
