Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of our global internal audit program. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple business areas, engage with senior leaders, and help strengthen the organization’s risk management and control framework.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and roll-out of the organization’s global internal audit program.
- Support the creation of the annual internal audit plan.
- Collaborate with compliance and business teams to identify risk areas, define review scopes, and create work plans.
- Conduct audits and reviews—independently and in partnership with third-party providers—covering a variety of business processes and control environments.
- Develop audit testing frameworks, prepare document requests, analyze responses, and conduct stakeholder interviews.
- Document process flows, assess control effectiveness, and prepare clear, actionable findings.
- Monitor and follow up on the resolution of audit findings to ensure timely remediation.
- Coordinate with other compliance teams to promote consistency and coverage across testing activities.
- Prepare and deliver reports and evaluations for senior compliance leadership, business executives, corporate boards, and relevant risk committees.
- Maintain and update internal audit policies, procedures, and the annual audit calendar.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk assurance within the financial services industry or at a recognized audit firm.
- Strong understanding of laws and regulations relevant to investment advisors.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
