Research Assistant

We are seeking a curious and driven Research Assistant to join a global team supporting high-impact investment decisions. In this role, you’ll work directly with deal teams and investment professionals across multiple international offices, providing in-depth industry, economic, and demographic research. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable working across time zones and priorities, and excited by the challenge of solving loosely defined problems through data and insight.

This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values intellectual rigor, initiative, and the ability to juggle multiple assignments at once. A background in financial services, consulting, or real estate is helpful, and the role offers excellent exposure to senior decision-makers and investment professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver tailored, insightful research to support global investment and deal teams
• Dive into industry trends and economic shifts to help drive strategic decisions
• Use a variety of databases and research tools to identify and assess data sources
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to anticipate and fulfill emerging research needs
• Evaluate third-party providers and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Stay informed on trends in sectors such as real estate, insurance, and professional services
• Contribute to team initiatives that improve access to information, tools, and research capabilities
• Take ownership of special projects and provide flexible support across priorities

Who You Are

• You hold a bachelor’s degree and have 3–5 years of research experience in a professional environment (finance, consulting, or corporate research preferred)
• You have strong analytical skills and enjoy solving ambiguous problems with structured thinking
• You’re familiar with platforms like Capital IQ, AlphaSense, Factiva, CoStar, and other industry-specific tools
• You’re proactive and service-oriented, with excellent communication and project management skills
• You have the ability to work independently and within a collaborative, global team
• You thrive under pressure and are comfortable balancing multiple deadlines
• You’re open to learning new research technologies, and an interest in AI applications is a plus
