Your role
Weβre entering an exciting chapter atLloyd Motor Group, and due to an internal promotion, we now have a fantastic opportunity for aGeneral Sales Managerto join our team atLloyd Cockermouth BMW.

Salary:Basic with OTE Β£75,000
Hours:45 hours per week
Role responsibilities:
- To deliver results and maximise profit in all areas of responsibility.
- To translate business strategy into operational plans for new and used car sales.
- To develop and agree sales plans and budgets, including new cars, used cars and accessories and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales and financial targets.
- To implement effective policies and procedures in order to maximise sales opportunities.
- To inspire, provide leadership and effectively manage staff in order to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
- To ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility.
- To work effectively with all other key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practice and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service.
- To ensure full compliance to FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services products by all relevant staff
Your profile
- Experience within the motor industry at management level
- Commercial awareness and financial analysis
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lead and manage the sales team
- IT literate with a full UK driving licence.
- Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
- Strong work ethic and adaptable to change.
- Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines to achieve the business needs.
- FCA & SAF approved
- Able to react positively to organisational and market changes.
