Lloyd Carlisle is looking for an Apprentice Technician.
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to kick start your career working with one of the most prestigious automotive brands.
Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday.
From engine and exhaust systems to air conditioning and security features, technicians are skilled in all aspects of car mechanics and electronics. A technician's responsibilities may include the following:
- Servicing vehicles - maintaining cars by performing checks and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
- Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
- Maintaining repair and service records.
- Investigating reported issues with the help of specialised tools and diagnostic equipment, as well as seeking guidance from senior employees as needed.
- Developing and comprehending the relevant documents for warranty work.
Qualification:
Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician.
Training:
All Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentices receive their off-the-job training at the state of the art Manufacturer's Training Centre. This guarantees consistent training across the UK and enables our apprentices to study the most up-to-date products and technology. Over the course of three years, the training is conducted in both workshops and classroom settings. With the increasing presence of Hybrid and Electric cars you will receive comprehensive EV training designed to give you the knowledge & skills required to carry out safe and competent work.
Your profile:
- Applicants must possess GCSE grades level 4 or above in English, Maths and two other subjects (or equivalent qualifications).
