Internship - Total Vehicle Validation

Entity, Location – Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood.

We are a leading automotive company committed to delivering high-quality vehicles to our customers. Our Total Vehicle Validation Department plays a crucial role in ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability. As part of our dedication to fostering talent and providing valuable learning opportunities, we are offering a 13-month internship within our Total Vehicle Validation Department.

As an intern in the Total Vehicle Validation Department, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of vehicle testing and validation. You will work closely with our experienced team to assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of validation tests for our vehicles. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to the automotive industry and the chance to enhance your technical skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What awaits you?

  • Assist in planning and organizing validation tests for different vehicle systems.
  • Support the execution of validation tests, including vehicle setup, instrumentation, data collection, and post-test analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of validation activities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during validation tests.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of validation procedures and test protocols.
  • Document test results, observations, and recommendations for future reference.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in vehicle testing and validation techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the overall validation process.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field and currently achieving a 2.1 degree.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems and components.
  • Familiarity with vehicle testing and validation processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and data acquisition systems.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics, vehicle performance, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
