Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant\βs assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world. MINI Plant Oxford β Logistics Process Planning Intern- 13-Month Placement β (July 2026)
The Logistics Process Planning role offers opportunity to be working within the Material Planning department to obtain full process knowledge, customer order and parts supply. The department is responsible for the supply of all production related material into the assembly hall to build a quality vehicle from approximately 350 suppliers world-wide. Alongside this we are also responsible for the supply of consumable and maintenance items across the plant.
What awaits you?
- Autonomous development, agreement and implementation of supply processes.
- Process and data analysis of projects as well as getting hands on to develop and implement new solutions.
- Consideration of strategic topics whilst planning, creating and realising the supply concepts.
- Build an understanding of logistics departments and assist with the development of new approaches to support the efficient manufacture of new vehicles.
- Develop supplier communication and negotiation skills.
What should you bring along?
- Studying towards an Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Engineering or Business and on track to achieve a 2.1 standard or higher.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of all standard Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and ideally some exposure to SAP.
- Good Analytical skills and flexibility to work on various topics at one time.
- Good English, communication and interpersonal skills are expected with an ability to summarise topics and present clearly.
