BMW Group Plant Hams Hall is a modern, state-of-the-art engine manufacturing facility, located just outside Birmingham, UK. Producing the latest generation of three- and four-cylinder petrol engines, and precision machining key engine components, the plant has recently celebrated 20 years of successful production.
What awaits you?
- Support the digital transformation of the department according to the IT landscape considering the requirements of the data architecture and digital maturity assessment for departmental processes.
- Support the continued roll out of data analytic systems within the department and develop system processes to allow ease of use.
- Support the implementation of IT applications (SAP, Data Management, Energy Management, Building Information Modelling, Building Management Systems, Digital Twin....)
- Enablement of the department and services by bringing data transparency to use data in daily business including the digitalisation overview of all application KPI\'s.
- Bespoke reporting using our data analytic systems.
Qualifications And Experience
- Studying towards a bachelor\'s degree and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Passion for the automotive industry and understanding of working in a premium brand environment.
- Excellent organisation with outstanding attention to detail.
- The ability to think creatively, analytically, and strategically.
