PMO Project Controller at BMT. This role is a Fixed Term contract and can be full-time, part-time, or job-share. Location: UK – Bath, with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements. Travel to customer sites or meetings will be required.

About the Role
As a Project Controller, you will support the successful delivery of customer-facing projects, working closely with Bid Managers and Project Managers to ensure processes are followed, risks are managed, and management information is accurate. Your work will help ensure projects are well-structured, risks are mitigated, and delivery expectations are met.
Responsibilities
- Support bidding teams with work breakdown structures, budgeting, and scheduling for bid and project stages
- Ensure risk management, quality planning, and customer satisfaction activities are started and maintained
- Record and update project information in management systems
- Set up and maintain project details, resource allocation, and risk registers
- Monitor project delivery against schedules and budgets
- Provide Earned-Value Management reporting and support monthly forecasting and project reporting
- Raise and track project invoices and follow up on payments
- Support project review activities and ensure lessons learned are recorded
- Complete project close-out activities, including archiving and feedback tracking
Qualifications & Skills
- Influential, assertive, and tactful
- Detail-oriented, diligent, analytical, and proactive
- Confident with data manipulation, management information systems, and MS Excel
- Committed to continuous improvement and personal development
- Experience or qualifications as a Project Manager are desirable but not essential
