About The Role
As a Junior 3D Artist at BMT, you will create detailed simulation-ready models of ships and ports using LiDAR, CAD, and photographic references for our in-house proprietary simulation software. Working closely with naval architects, you will ensure technical accuracy and contribute to high-quality simulations for diverse client projects. You will balance precision and efficiency while maintaining and updating legacy assets. No maritime experience is required as training is provided, but a strong foundation in 3D modelling and texturing is essential. You will work in a collaborative, innovative environment with immersive simulators and mentorship, offering excellent opportunities to develop your skills in 3D art and maritime simulation.

To succeed as a Junior 3D Artist at BMT, you will need a to have experience in 3D modelling and texturing, using software such as 3DS Max, Blender, and Substance Painter. You should be able to balance quality and efficiency while adapting to new challenges. A willingness to learn maritime subjects and proprietary simulation software is essential. Your enthusiasm and proactive attitude will help you develop your skills and deliver accurate, high-quality models for our clients. We prioritise potential and mindset alongside experience and qualifications.
