About the role: The role can be fulfilled based at any of BMT office locations and can be undertaken taking advantage of our flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Please note that travel to customer sites or to attend meetings will be required.
About you: You will have knowledge and experience of safety assessment and analysis techniques and application across a variety of systems and platforms. You will have the ability to apply processes and tools and develop safety evidence for compliance against defence land regulations and relevant standards, with an appreciation of complex defence land systems and platforms. You will have relevant academic qualifications and/or professional accreditations in an engineering and/or safety discipline, and will show a good understanding of relevant regulations and standards such as DSA 02: Defence Land Safety Regulator, ASEMS POSMS, Def Stan 00-056 and Def Stan 00-055, with experience of safety assessment and/or independent safety audit.
