Job Title: Graduate Naval Architect
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: This is a hybrid role, where you can work from home and in one of our UK offices. Our primary offices are in Bath/Bristol and Fareham (Whiteley). Depending on project needs you will be expected to occasionally travel to customer sites and BMT offices.
Salary: £34,500
This role will require Security Clearance, to be eligible you must be a British born sole national and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.

About The Role
Due to exciting current and future workload requirements BMT is looking for graduates to join our Naval Architecture team working in the UK and Europe Region. Roles are available within our Ships and Specialist Craft Teams. As a graduate, you will receive training from our experienced team, supporting your journey towards achieving Chartered status.
We are looking for candidates who have the following:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Naval Architecture or a similar related field preferably to Master’s level;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts;
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other engineers and professionals;
- Enthusiasm to deliver a first-class service to our clients, marked by attention to detail; and
- Desire to further their career and gain Chartered status.
Working in this technical consultancy focused role will provide you the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects and research, with the ability to tailor your training and project experience to align with your personal and professional aspirations.
