Location Options: Bristol, Glasgow, Almondvale, or Leeds (Hybrid working available)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.
About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for the performance of allocated contracts, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and to the highest standards. This role involves managing fast-track schemes with frequent changes, requiring strong commercial awareness and adaptability. You’ll work closely with internal project teams and clients, ensuring accuracy, quality, and effective change management throughout the contract lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of allocated contracts to maximize turnover and profitability.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
- Oversee procurement and subcontractor management.
- Ensure compliance with robust commercial processes and client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or fit-out projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional time management skills.
