Fit-Out Site Manager – School Refurbishment Project Welshpool, Immediate Start (Monday 3rd Aug) 4–5 Week Contract | CIS / LTD payments. £250–£325 per day (depending on experience) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced school refurbishment project in Welshpool during the summer holiday period.
Working on a tight programme with a fixed completion date, you will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and to a high standard before the new term begins.
Duties
- Manage the day-to-day running of the refurbishment and fit-out works.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
- Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues quickly.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance.
- Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
- Oversee quality control and ensure works are completed to specification.
- Liaise with project teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out, interiors, or refurbishment projects.
- Experience delivering fast-track projects to strict deadlines.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS beneficial but not essential. Contract Details
