One of our clients is a leading building services contractor based in London & Ireland with offices across the UK that work in the commercial construction sector that specialise in the Mechanical & Electrical installations of new build Schools, University Buildings, Hospitals, Factory units.
LOCATION
London
- Manage and supervise all test operatives on LV projects
- Assist in preparation of project testing and commissioning folder
- Testing and commissioning of LV installation as testing procedure, ESSW, BS7671, GN3
- Manage and keep electronic test folder updated (results to be inputted within 24 hours)
- Update testing schedules and test sheet for sub main, sub circuit, earthing, modular wiring
- Complete DB check sheets, installation reports and snag sheets
- Inspection of installation for compliance with BS7671
- Inspection of switchgear and installation methods
- Review all test results, inform T&C manager on results outside parameters
- Manage and co-ordinate Fixed Wiring, Earthing & Modular wiring testing
- Manage and update project Gateway tracker
- Manage and update project schematics (lockable frame)
- Check protective device settings against selectivity study
- Check and record torque of connections to manufacturers required levels
- Manage and co-ordinate request for power and documentation issue
- Manage and co-ordinate request for isolation and documentation issue
- Assist specialist sub contractors as requested by management
- Manage LOTO procedure as ESSW
- Manage key procedure
- Manage Permit issue and review of task RAMS
- Manage security of areas under control
- Inspection of switchgear and installation methods
- Check project test instruments, test leads and calibrations
- Review and advise on required updates to project ITP
- Co-ordinate areas to test and review handover packs from CM
- Issue inspection reports, DB & Earth bar check sheets to project team
- Issue snags & non compliances issued to project team
- Ensure project team have closed out snags and non-compliant items
- Carry out client witnessing of LV fixed & modular wiring test results
- Provide information for NICEIC completion certification
- Attend commissioning meetings when requested by management
- Provide client training when requested by management
- Carry out emergency lighting testing and verification
- A flexible approach to working "out of hours" to achieve project requirements and completion dates
