The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Tenant Liaison Officer to support residents and site teams on a major occupied residential recladding and fa ade remediation programme in Portishead.
Working on behalf of an established specialist contractor, you will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships between residents and the project team throughout the delivery of critical building safety improvements.
This is a long-term project involving works to occupied residential buildings, making resident engagement and communication a vital part of successful delivery. You'll be joining a collaborative project team delivering meaningful improvements to residents' homes while helping ensure works are completed with minimal disruption.
The Role
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, leaseholders and stakeholders throughout the project
- Provide clear and timely communication on planned works, access requirements and programme updates
- Build positive relationships with residents and support them through each stage of the works
- Arrange appointments, consultations, resident meetings and home visits as required
- Manage enquiries, concerns and complaints professionally and sensitively
- Liaise closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure resident issues are resolved quickly
- Maintain accurate records of communications, visits and resident feedback
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives and project reporting requirements
- Help minimise disruption and ensure residents remain informed throughout the programme
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience as a Tenant Liaison Officer, Resident Liaison Officer or similar customer-facing role within construction, social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment, regeneration or property services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Ability to manage difficult conversations professionally and empathetically
- Experience working within occupied residential environments
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Desirable
- Experience on cladding, fa ade, remediation, retrofit or fire safety projects
- Social housing, local authority or residential refurbishment experience
- Understanding of building safety remediation programmes
- Experience supporting site teams on live construction projects
