A well-established building services and engineering contractor delivering large-scale projects across the UK is looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to support the close-out of a live project in Bristol over the next 3–4 weeks. This is a great opportunity for someone who can come in, get stuck into project close-out, snagging, and final delivery, and potentially move into further work on upcoming schemes in Cardiff and Port Talbot.
The Role
You’ll be joining an experienced delivery team on a live construction site, supporting the final stages of an electrical package. Key duties will include:
- Supporting project close-out and completion activities
- Coordinating subcontractors to finalise installations and resolve snags
- Assisting with commissioning, testing, and handover documentation
- Liaising with site managers, PMs, and client-side teams
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with programme, quality, and H&S standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working as an Electrical Site Engineer (or strong Supervisor/Engineer stepping up)
- Background in building services / M&E construction
- Confident working on live sites under time pressure
- Familiar with snagging, commissioning, and handover processes
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- ECS / JIB
