BMSL Group are recruiting for a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wireperson to join our clients dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels in accordance with technical drawings and company standards.

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 7.30am – 4.30pm; Friday: 7.00am – 1.00pm

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire control panels as per engineering drawings and workshop documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Perform system testing and quality checks in accordance with our Quality System Testing procedures.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies in “as-built” drawings.
  • Assist with on-site commissioning or modifications when required.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of electrical control principles and ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as electrical testing equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Desirable Skills

  • Mechanical assembly experience.
  • Busbar fabrication and pipefitting skills.
  • Recognised electrical qualifications.

Hourly Rate: £17.00 - £22.00 per hour
