BMSL require an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a major food retailer's Deposit Recycle Scheme for the North Wales / Cheshire region. They will be constructed either in current stores, adjacent to the stores or in the car parks.
Job spec is to oversee our client's subcontractors who will be doing the groundworks, erection of modular units to house the recycling unit and various internal works. Our client will also have a site manager on the projects who you will need to oversee then report back into our client's operations director.
The first phase of groundworks includes the formation of a new concrete slab approx 4.8m x 7.2m and service trenches to get power and data from the existing building, with adjustment to landscaping. The second phase of the programme will be the erection of the modular unit. We anticipate that the contractors will be on site for two weeks on each store in the region.
Our client is the Principal Contractor, so you will need to be fully conversant with planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring health and safety, time and quality. Clearly in a live store environment, the correct person needs to be able to liaise with the Retail store manager and be considerate towards the general public.
CSCS, SMSTS and full 3-day FAW are essential, and previous experience of working in similar retail environments would be an advantage. Temp or perm roles are an option. Rates are negotiable. Get in touch ASAP with copies of the relevant cards and up to date CVs highlighting your experience in this role.
