Section Manager - Construction / Facades â Swansea. Salary: Up to ÂŁ50,000 (depending on experience). Job Type: Permanent.
You will be working for a nationwide construction contractor delivering specialist packages across live construction projects. They are now looking to appoint a Section Manager in Swansea, with a clear preference for someone on an upward career path rather than a fully established senior who may be seeking a higher salary. This role would suit a junior Section Manager, or an experienced Assistant Site Manager, who is ready to take ownership of sections of work and progress their career within a growing business. While experience in facades, cladding or external envelopes would be highly beneficial, we are open to candidates from a broader construction background who are keen to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing allocated sections of work on site
- Coordinating subcontractors and dayâtoâday site activities
- Supporting programme delivery, quality and productivity
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met on site
- Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team
- Monitoring progress and reporting on your section of works
- Assisting with inspections, snagging and handovers
About You
You will come from a construction background and be comfortable working in a siteâbased environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who are ambitious, reliable and keen to progress, rather than those looking for a seniorâlevel package.
Essential
- Construction site experience (any sector considered)
- Experience as a Section Manager, or a Supervisor / Assistant Site Manager ready to step up
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS card
- Good communication and organisational skills

- Facades, cladding or external works experience
- Experience managing subcontract packages
- Exposure to fastâpaced or live construction sites
