We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to support a live Data Centre project in London. This is a short-term, night-shift role for 21 nights, ensuring the safety of the workforce while cable installation works are carried out on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with site Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments during nightly operations.
- Advise and support the team on safe working practices, particularly during cable pulling activities.
- Report any safety incidents or near misses promptly to site management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for H&S compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer, H&S Coordinator, or similar role on construction or technical projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work night shifts and remain vigilant during all hours.
- Good communication skills to liaise with site teams and management.
- Valid H&S certifications preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS, First Aid).
