Installation Operative / Acoustic Installer

BMSL are currently recruiting for Installation Operatives to join a specialist team installing acoustic systems on commercial construction projects across the UK.

Working alongside an experienced Installation Supervisor, you will assist with the installation of acoustic hardware and galvanised steel framework from project delivery through to handover.

Duties Include

  • Assisting with the installation of acoustic panels, enclosures and steel framework.
  • Installing painted sheet metal and galvanised steel components.
  • Loading, unloading and distributing materials safely around site.
  • Using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
  • Working from ladders and at height where required.
  • Supporting the installation team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working on UK construction sites.
  • CSCS Card (Essential).
  • Confident using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces.
  • Good level of physical fitness and able to undertake manual handling duties.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).
