Estimator / Quantity Surveyor in London

M&E Estimator with Drylining ExperienceLocation: Pontyclun, South WalesType: PermanentSalary: £70-000 to 75,000 p.a. + 10% bonusJoin a leading local team and make an immediate impact on high-profile projects. We are seeking an experienced M&E Estimator with strong drylining expertise to join on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver accurate, competitive estimates for mechanical, electrical, and drylining packages.

The Role

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, with a focus on M&E and drylining packages.

Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare material, labour, and subcontractor costings.

Source, negotiate, and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Work closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and the wider commercial team to ensure estimates align with project requirements.

Contribute to tender submissions, value engineering, and risk analysis.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, supply chain trends, and construction techniques.

Attend site visits as required.

Required

Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with strong drylining and M&E project knowledge.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to projects and offices.
