We are a rapidly growing construction and facilities management organisation delivering complex refurbishment, remedial, and external envelope projects across the North West. As our pipeline of façade and cladding works continues to expand, we are strengthening our project leadership team with an experienced Façade Project Manager.
If you have strong technical knowledge of external envelope systems, excellent stakeholder skills, and the drive to lead challenging projects safely and efficiently, this is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking contractor committed to quality and community impact.
The Role
As a Project Manager specialising in façade works, you will take full operational and commercial responsibility for delivering external envelope projects, including cladding replacement, remediation schemes, and façade upgrades. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, and deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of façade and external envelope projects, from pre-construction through to handover.
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring clear communication and structured delivery.
- Oversee quality, programme, budgets, and health & safety across all live projects.
- Ensure compliance with façade, fire, and building safety regulations.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, residents, local authorities, and internal teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, design details, and technical submittals for façade systems.
- Manage risk assessments, method statements, and programme planning.
- Oversee procurement and coordination of façade subcontractors and materials.
- Conduct regular progress meetings, reporting project performance to senior management.
- Ensure projects maintain high standards of workmanship, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering façade, cladding, external envelope, or fire-remediation projects.
- Strong understanding of façade systems, rainscreen cladding, EWI, structural support systems, and fire-compliance standards.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Good commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Liverpool and the wider North West.
You Will Ideally Have:
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist façade contractor.
- Knowledge of cladding remediation regulations and post-Grenfell compliance requirements.
- Experience delivering projects in social housing, high-rise, or occupied buildings.
- SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold Card, or relevant construction management qualifications.
- Strong understanding of building safety legislation and façade testing standards.
