Installation Assistant Polar Air Conditioning is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as an Installation Assistant. The Role The role will involve working alongside our experienced engineers on a variety of air conditioning installation projects. Your main responsibilities will include: Gathering and preparing tools and materials required by engineers on site. Assisting engineers with the installation of air conditioning systems. Helping to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Carrying out tasks efficiently and to a high standard. Learning and developing practical skills through hands-on experience. As you gain experience, full on-site training and guidance will be provided, allowing you to develop an understanding of the different stages involved in installing air conditioning systems to a professional standard. Experience Previous experience in a trade, construction or engineering environment would be beneficial but is not essential. We are primarily looking for someone who is: Reliable and hardworking. Keen to learn and develop new skills. Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. Punctual, with excellent timekeeping. Willing to work in a hands-on environment. Location & Travel Our company is based in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, with work taking place across various locations depending on the project. Travel to and from sites will be provided where required. Pay & Progression The starting wage will be National Minimum Wage, with pay being reviewed based on progress, ability and development. Our aim is not simply to have someone assist our engineers. We want the successful candidate to learn the trade and develop an understanding of all aspects of air conditioning installation.As your knowledge, skills and responsibilities develop, there will be opportunities to progress within the company.If you are reliable, willing to learn and interested in developing a career within the air conditioning industry, we would be keen to hear from you
