The Opportunity
We're recruiting for a Site Manager / Foreman to join an established regional contractor delivering large commercial interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across South Wales. The immediate requirement is on a live shopping centre fit-out scheme in Cardiff, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with strong interiors experience who enjoys fast-paced, site-led project delivery. This is a permanent or long-term freelance opportunity with a contractor that has a strong pipeline of secured work across commercial and public-sector environments.
The Role
- Managing day-to-day delivery of interior fit-out works
- Coordinating trades, subcontractors and site logistics
- Driving programme and productivity on site
- Working within a live shopping centre environment
- Managing quality, health & safety and site presentation
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification
- Liaising with project management, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Supporting project delivery from strip-out through to final finishes
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Foreman or Supervisor on interior fit-out projects
- Strong understanding of interior construction, finishing trades and sequencing
- Experience working within live commercial, retail or public-sector environments
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site activities independently
- Organised, proactive and capable of leading from the front
