We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a busy contractor delivering multiple school refurbishment projects across South Wales. This is an urgent requirement, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position following an initial contract period.
The Role
- Site-based, managing and supporting mechanical installation works on live refurbishment projects.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising mechanical installation teams on site
- Working on boilers, copper pipework and steel pipe systems
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification
- Coordinating labour and subcontractors to maintain progress
- Liaising with site management and project teams
- Supporting quality control, snagging and completion activities
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor
- Valid Gas Safe certification (essential)
- Strong background working on commercial refurbishment projects (schools, hospitals, etc.)
- Confident working with:
- Steel pipework
- Copper pipe installations
- Boiler systems
Hours & Pay
- £27.00 per hour (CIS or LTD)
- Weekly pay
- Overtime available (rates to be confirmed)
Opportunity

Permanent Package
- £45,000 – £55,000 basic salary (DOE)
