Start: ASAP We are looking for an experienced and organised Document Controller to join our project team on a fast-paced fit-out project in Canary Wharf.

Working closely alongside the Project Manager and wider site team, you will play a key role in ensuring project information is accurately collated, controlled and distributed throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collating, organising and maintaining project documentation.
  • Managing drawings, specifications, technical information and revisions.
  • Ensuring the project team is working from the latest approved information.
  • Distributing drawings and documentation to our site and management teams.
  • Relaying required information upstream to the client and relevant project stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate document registers and project records.
  • Assisting the Project Manager with information requests, submissions and general project administration.
  • Chasing outstanding information where required to ensure the programme is not affected.
  • Supporting the team in a high-pressure, fast-paced fit-out environment. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is:
  • Experienced in document control within construction or fit-out.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident managing large volumes of drawings and project information.
  • Comfortable working directly with Project Managers, site teams and clients.
  • Proactive and able to identify missing or outstanding information.
  • Able to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-moving project environment.
  • Confident using standard document management and Microsoft Office systems.

A valid CSCS card or other recognised site-access certification is essential for this role.

Previous experience working on commercial fit-out projects would be highly advantageous.

This is a 16-week temporary position based on site in Canary Wharf, with a negotiable rate depending on experience.

Immediate availability would be advantageous
