Site Manager - Retail & Café Fit-Out Projects

£45,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance (depending on experience)

Location: Bristol (sites throughout UK)

Employment Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site activities for retail, café, and food-led fit-out projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Enforce strict health & safety policies, including RAMS, inductions, and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure installations meet brand guidelines, specifications, and programme requirements.
  • Monitor progress, produce daily/weekly site reports, and maintain site documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and client representatives.
  • Ensure snag-free delivery and high-standard handovers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience managing fit-out projects for cafés, coffee shops, or similar food-retail environments.
  • Strong understanding of fast-track construction programmes and brand standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level) and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the UK when required.
