We are supporting the delivery of one of the UK’s most significant industrial infrastructure programmes (a next‑generation battery manufacturing facility driving sustainable production and the transition to net zero). We are recruiting for a Project Systems & Information Lead to take ownership of project information, digital systems, and data integrity across a large, fast‑moving construction environment. This is a high-impact role on one of the UK’s most complex live construction environments, with full ownership of project information systems.

The Role

Reporting to the Shared Services Lead, you will be the go-to specialist for information management and digital systems on site, leading the configuration, governance, and optimisation of the Common Data Environment (CDE) and associated platforms. You will ensure that all project stakeholders have access to accurate, controlled, and compliant information at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Governance
    • Manage and develop Document Controller(s)
    • Ensure information management aligns with ISO 19650 and Golden Thread requirements
    • Maintain structured workflows, permissions, and audit compliance
  • Digital Systems
    • Configure and administer CDE and field management systems (e.g. Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex)
    • Act as the main point of contact for system-related queries
    • Support system roll-out across project phases
    • Oversee system support and issue resolution
  • Training & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Deliver training to site teams and supply chain partners
    • Drive consistent use of digital tools across the project
    • Support effective information flow between stakeholders
  • Quality & Assurance
    • Lead audits, reporting, and compliance checks
    • Ensure robust data governance and archiving
    • Identify and implement system and process improvements

Your Experience

  • Proven background in Information Management, Document Control, or Project Systems
  • Experience working on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
  • Hands-on experience configuring and administering a CDE on a live project is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and structured information delivery
  • Hands-on experience with CDE platforms (Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, etc.)
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Advanced IT skills (Microsoft 365 + digital construction tools such as Field View)
