Site Engineer Bridgend, South Wales £300 per day (CIS or Ltd Company) Immediate Start An experienced Site Engineer is required for an immediate start on a project in Bridgend, South Wales. Working for a well-established engineering contractor, you'll support the delivery of works on site, undertaking setting out, surveying, quality assurance and site coordination duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer seeking long-term freelance opportunities, with the potential to move onto future projects upon successful completion of the initial assignment. Responsibilities * Setting out works in accordance with drawings and specifications. * Carrying out site surveys and measurements. * Producing and maintaining accurate site records. * Supporting quality assurance processes and compiling QA documentation. * Preparing as-built surveys and records. * Checking drawings and identifying potential issues. * Liaising with site management, subcontractors and client representatives. * Monitoring progress and assisting with the coordination of site activities. * Ensuring works are carried out in line with health, safety and quality requirements. Requirements * Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, energy, industrial or construction projects. * Competent in setting out and surveying activities. * Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. * Good communication and organisational skills. * CSCS Card essential. * Full UK driving licence.
