Civils Site Agent (Bridge Refurb) Bridgend, South Wales 12-Month Freelance Contract £300 - £350 per day CIS or Ltd Company We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a major civil engineering and bridge refurbishment project in the Bridgend area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Agent with a strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure and structural works to secure a long-term contract on a high-profile scheme involving bridge refurbishment, remediation and associated construction activities. The Role As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of site activities, ensuring works are completed on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: * Managing day-to-day site operations. * Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and suppliers. * Planning and programming works to meet project deadlines. * Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements. * Overseeing site documentation, reporting and record keeping. * Liaising with engineers, designers, stakeholders and project teams. * Managing temporary works, permits and site logistics. * Monitoring labour, plant and material resources. * Resolving engineering, construction and delivery issues. * Ensuring works are completed in accordance with specifications, drawings and contract requirements. Requirements * Previous experience working as a Site Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects. * Strong background delivering bridge works, structural refurbishment, remediation, highways, drainage, earthworks or similar civil engineering schemes. * Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour on live construction sites. * Understanding of temporary works and construction sequencing. * Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and engineering information. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * SMSTS. * CSCS Card.
