The Role
You will be working as part of a specialist team carrying out installation, inspection and wiring works within hazardous or controlled environments.
Duties will include:
- CompEx inspections within hazardous / ATEX environments
- Terminating and installing equipment in line with specifications
- Working from drawings, schematics and electrical layouts
- Supporting panel wiring and control system installation where required
- Ensuring all works are carried out to high safety and compliance standards
- Adhering to site procedures and permit systems
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as an ATEX Inspector within industrial or process environments
- Strong wiring, installation and fault-finding experience
- Experience working in or around hazardous areas
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Essential
- Valid ECS / JIB Card
- CompEx 01-04 (minimum)
Desirable
- Experience in panel wiring or control systems
- Background in chemical, manufacturing, energy or heavy industrial sectors
Hours & Duration
- Start date: ASAP
- On-going contract
- 50 hours Monday - Friday, some overtime will be available
Pay
- £30.00 - £37.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
- CIS or LTD payment options available
- Weekly pay
