Join BMSI as a BEMS Support Engineer in our Southern Region! Be part of a forward-thinking team with opportunities to grow, no micro-management, and a focus on innovation. We currently have a vacancy for a Mobile Support (Service) Engineer in the Southern Region and for a Mobile / 50% Static Support Engineer, covering a site in Feltham, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and our customers.
- Carry out small repairs & remedial works.
- Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
- Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
The Ideal Candidate
- Should be familiar with Trend & IQ Vision. Experience with any of the following systems would also be advantageous; Siemens, Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure, otherwise training will be provided.
- You must have experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as have an understanding of mechanical plant.
- You will have proven diagnostic skills and be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- PC literate.
- You will also be required to be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis.
- It is essential that you hold a full driving license, ideal locations for our mobile Support engineer would be Berkshire.
- For the part Static role you will need to be a trained Trend engineer, be eligible to obtain MOD DV High Level Security Clearance and live within travelling distance of Feltham.
