We are seeking a talented and passionate Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in providing cost and contract management services on building management system (BMS) projects. The role is supported by the Commercial Manager and wider commercial team, with structured on-the-job training, mentoring and opportunities to develop core Quantity Surveying and commercial management skills to enable a progression pathway into an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role. Support towards professional development will be provided. The initial focus of the role will be learning core commercial processes, systems, and project delivery fundamentals.

This will include assisting in and undertaking supervised/supported activities such as:

  • Formulating and issuing applications for payment
  • Measurement and valuation of works
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages and tender analysis
  • Cost control and monitoring
  • Contract administration
  • Commercial reporting and risk management
  • Attendance at site meetings
  • Administration of sub-contractors and suppliers financial aspects
