Are you an experienced Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) Commissioning Engineer looking to further your career in the BEMS industry? We currently have a vacancy for a Commissioning Engineer in our exciting and dynamic Data Centre Projects Division. This is an onsite role and you must be located within comfortable travelling distance of Slough/West Drayton/Hayes.

What You’ll Do

  • Commission, co-ordinate and complete the installation of BMS systems within set timescales, budgetary constraints and in accordance with customers’ requirements.
  • Conduct functional testing and verification of BMS components and software.
  • Assist the project team with the development of project documentation and software including DOP’s, plant and point schedules, networks design and BMS controller software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning process.
  • Communicate and collaborate well with project managers, engineers, colleagues and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Project engineering and management of small and medium sized projects, running single or multiple jobs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced BMS commissioning engineer with primary technical knowledge of the Schneider EcoStruxture / Trend BMS system.
  • Experience with Tridium, ALC, or willingness to undergo training is advantageous.
  • Experience in the building controls industry and understanding of mechanical plant.
  • Time spent in data centre environments is favourable.
  • Experience in BMS control strategy design, engineering, and commissioning of BMS systems.
  • Proven diagnostic skills and ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Familiarity with panel wiring and schematic diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Well organised and able to work well under pressure.
  • Located within comfortable travelling distance of Slough/West Drayton/Hayes.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • PC literate.
  • Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
