Role Description
The Development Coach role is a full-time, on-site position based in Warrington. The Development Coach will support learners through their apprenticeship or training journey, providing coaching, feedback, and guidance to help them achieve industry-recognized qualifications and improve their workplace performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering structured coaching sessions, assessing learner progress against agreed standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The role involves collaborating with employers to align learning activities with role requirements, tailoring development plans to individual needs, and ensuring that all training complies with regulatory and quality frameworks. The Development Coach will also contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practices, participating in team meetings, and supporting the overall learner experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training professionals, ideally within sales, management, or leadership contexts.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple learners, deadlines, and administrative requirements.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks or vocational qualifications, and understanding of assessment and quality assurance processes.
- Relevant professional or academic qualifications in coaching, training, education, or a related field (e.g., teaching qualification, coaching certification, or industry-specific credentials).
- Comfort working on-site with employers and learners, with a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for learning, documentation, and communication (e.g., LMS platforms, online meeting tools, MS Office).
- Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning, continuous professional development, and inclusive practices.
