North West based field sales role with uncapped earning potential. Selling brand new lifts to contractors and developers on new build projects across the region. Global business, established 150+ years. Existing ledger to inherit & develop. Technical sales role working as part of a wider team. Project led new business development with a host of data tools available. Company training & various routes of progression.
The Role: BMS are recruiting for a new Sales Manager for a market leading organisation in the lift & escalator industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the North West region in which you will be working with contractors & developers on new build projects in order to pitch, quote, and win new lift installation business. You will be mostly targeting the densely populated areas around cities, building strong relationships with contractors & developers in order to win more repeat business through time. This role is predominantly new business development in nature (80% of the time), targeting any project that has new lift requirements in settings such as: retailers, commercial buildings, high-rise residential, education, healthcare etc. In this role you will deal with quantity surveyors, procurement, commercial managers, and lift consultants. This role will see you working closely with a Project Management team who you will pass won quotes to in order to deliver. To be considered for this role you must have strong commercial awareness, have sold a technical construction product directly to contractors & developers, and be up for the new business challenge.

For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have sold directly to contractors &/or developers in the region
- Strong relationship builder - new business drive
- Deal with decision makers at all levels
- Have used data sources such as Barbour or Glenigan before to find projects
- Driving License
Package: Up to £55,000 basic DOE plus £15k - 20k uncapped OTE year 1 (paid quarterly), 26 days holiday, enhanced maternity/paternity, healthcare cash plan, death in service, contributory pension scheme, company car scheme (hybrids available).
