The Role: The Technical Sales Engineer will be covering the Midlands & Wales region for this global leader which stretches from the Stoke border down to Worcester, and including, the whole of Wales. In this role, the Technical Sales Engineer will be selling a market-leading array of ground shoring, formwork/falsework, scaffolding, and specialised temporary engineering solutions on a hire basis into Main Contractors & Civil Engineering businesses working on a host of construction & infrastructure projects. The Technical Sales Engineer will be driving a region that has great growth potential and will see the successful incumbent working alongside a broader sales team to add significant value on a certain product range through joint visits, closing large projects, and supporting on tendering. Borne out of growth, this role is extremely attractive to someone who has a background in technical hire solutions in the construction sector, who wants to step-up their level of responsibility, and be the go-to person from a knowledge base perspective.
The Technical Sales Engineer will have a superb back-office support function to help be successful, especially as this is more of a business development led position. Our client has a fabulous in-house Design team, a sales team who are extremely motivated and knowledgeable, and the support from multiple regional offices on patch.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Field sales experience within the construction engineering sector - preferably from a formwork/falsework/engineering solutions background
- Have a track record with new business and account management
- Have sold a technical, or design led, construction solution
- Full & Clean Driving licence
- Experience selling direct to end users
Salary: £50,000 Basic Salary + annual commission scheme, Company Car (Hybrid options), 25 days plus stats, generous pension contribution, healthcare options, wider business employee benefits platform.
Candidate Location: Stoke, Cardiff, Worcester, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester.
