We are working exclusively with a privately owned and highly respected modular building specialist that has experienced significant and sustained growth, establishing itself as a go-to name within the industry. Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking a technically strong and commercially astute professional to act as the linchpin between Sales and Design. This is a pivotal role within the business, offering genuine influence over bid quality, compliance, and commercial outcomes. The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take responsibility for compliance-led estimating and technical support across modular building sale and hire projects. Acting as the central interface between Sales, Design, Projects, Depots, and Operations, you will ensure proposals are technically robust, commercially viable, and contractually compliant.
- Preparing and supporting pricing for modular building sale and hire projects
- Estimating additional, bespoke, and compliance-driven requirements
- Developing and reviewing layouts to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance
- Supporting Sales with technically sound and commercially viable proposals
- Reviewing specifications, Employer's Requirements, and contract documentation
- Supporting bid clarifications, value engineering, and change control
- Acting as the technical and commercial link between Sales, Projects, Depots, and Operations
- Supporting live projects with cost control, variance management, and valuation of variations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in estimation and design within the modular buildings sector
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and contractual requirements
- Commercial awareness with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
- The ability to communicate effectively across technical, operational, and commercial teams
