The Role: As the successful Sales Specialist, you will sell in vitro fertilisation devices, equipment and consumables to private and NHS clinics and hospitals within your territory , selling to embryologists, clinic owners, consultants and nurses. On this patch the business is split fairly equally between NHS and private. You be managing and developing relationships, all within existing accounts, with some already fantastic relationships on patch. This is a position where you will enjoy the social aspects of the role, free of the restrictions that a lot of other medical and pharmaceutical roles have. You will get to manage, build and enhance fantastic relationships with clients, sometimes needing to work outside “normal” hours.
The Company: This global manufacturer is a leading name within their highly specialist field and have a reputation for producing high quality solutions that make a genuine difference to patients’ lives. They continue to experience incredible growth in revenue, and as such a rare and exciting opportunity currently exists for a driven, ambitious and technically capable healthcare sales professional to join their field-based sales team, managing and further developing their business within the Midlands and Ireland. Northern Ireland can be covered with a one-night stay every three months and the Republic two nights every two months – hence candidates need to live within the Midlands.
The territory: East and West Midlands, Ireland (see above) and the East – Oxford / Cambridge way. There are also some accounts in Cardiff. Candidate location needs to be in the Midlands or with the flexibility and ability to travel.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Proven track record in a field-based medical sales role
- Science / healthcare related degree (IDEALLY BIO) or qualification
- Ideally having sold on a highly technical / scientific basis
- An outgoing, sociable personality and a team player
- A passionate and motivated self-starter
- Full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
Package for the Sales Specialist:
Basic salary: ÂŁ40,000 to ÂŁ60,000 DOE
Bonus: 25%
Car allowance
Benefits: 30 days annual leave + stats, 6% pension, private healthcare
