World leading cable management & tooling manufacturer with a manufacturing site in the UK. Regional sales management position covering the South of the UK with five reports. Working with end users and electrical wholesale partners at key account level. Lots of support from senior management, Marketing, and Inside Sales. Multiple product ranges with limitless applications. Pro-active sales leadership role with a clear career pathway.
The Role: Our client is looking for a new Regional Sales Manager to cover the Southern region of the UK which includes having five Area Sales Engineer reports into them. The Regional Sales Manager will be coaching, developing, and leading the team as they sell a range of cable glands, cable management solutions, and tooling into a vast array of end users such as panel builders, M&E Contractors, OEMs, and Cable Harness businesses. Once the demand has been generated with that end user on their project, you will pull the sell back through the electrical wholesale network of which there are a number of national and independent distributors on patch such as Edmundson & Rexel. Your role as a Regional Sales Manager will see you managing these Key Accounts at a National level 40% of your time. 60% of the time will be people management. The Regional Sales Manager will have a lot of support from marketing, customer service, inside sales, and product managers within the UK manufacturing site, as well as team support from the other Sales Manager in the North and the Senior Leadership Team. This role is ready to go and they are keen to get interviewing and a passionate leader in before the end of the calendar year!

They are constantly growing and this development of the UK & Irish markets is testament to that. They have a strong infrastructure of support, an ethos built on teamwork, and a heritage of UK manufacture. As such, their lead times are much shorter than those who manufacture outside of Europe. These brand-new Sales leadership positions have come due to team growth and further expansion which means careers are being created for people all the time here.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Have a B2B field sales leadership track record in the electrical, industrial, or construction sectors
- Understanding of the sales process with driving demand with end users and back-selling via distribution partners
- Have an eagerness and passion to support people in their learning & development
- Professional in approach
- Lives on patch
- Full & Clean Driving license
Salary: Up to £60,000 basic salary DOE + £12k bonus (stretch OTE of £18k) + Company Car + 24 days holiday + healthcare + life assurance (x3 salary) + pension scheme (5% matched)
