The Role:
The Specification Sales Manager will be covering the South Central region of the UK spanning Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, and West Sussex selling a mid to high end range of sanitary products such as toilets, sinks, basins, and baths as well as other residential bathroom products such as taps, showers, and shower trays. The Specification Manager will be building relationships with Developers, House Builders, and Contractors working on new build and retrofit residential projects from 30 to 200+ plots. In addition, you will be working closely with social housing providers across the region.
The bulk of the Specification Sales Manager's time will be dealing with Merchants working in the region on those projects to ensure the specification is adhered to and priced correctly. You will have plenty of support from in-house Marketing, Inside Sales, and the Product Management Team who write & develop the CPD seminars you will deliver. There will also be interaction with the sales teams of your Merchant partners to build deeper relationships and to gain leads of new projects.
The Specification Sales Manager role covers all areas of the residential construction sales process for this well-known British manufacturer. It’s a great opportunity to cut your teeth in the construction industry and it’s not necessary for you to have come from the sector before!

- Have a demonstrable sales track record in field sales selling to end users.
- Understanding of selling direct to Contractors and Installers at all levels.
- Driven, hungry, desire to succeed.
- Team player, organised, and strong territory planner.
- Full & Clean Driving license.
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 basic salary + 25% OTE (uncapped) (50% of the bonus is guaranteed in year 1) + Hybrid car scheme + Pension + healthcare + 25 days holiday.
Candidate Location: Southampton, Guildford, Twickenham (or close by).
